Preciado) Sex sintaxis works as a diagram unfolded in the exhibition space of the cooperative Crater Invertido in Mexico city, the relation with the body is marked by a frustrated made out of sentences coming from the lexicons of sexuality - political structure - normalization of gender - exoticism. This immanence (a self-made category in my practice whenthe exhibition place is considered as the source to decide the components of the work) uses the space as a body looking at it's own components, going from the sentences involving body to a penetration and violence in the space itself. How does language determine and shape our perception of our own bodies? The walls reveal red and blue skin of memories, peeled, brutally exposed to sight. Sex sintaxis convokes a slow gaze to observe how we actually bring the understanding of the gendered context within the words we use to think ourselves.
